Privacy Policy

• Your email, to deliver reports, manage your account, and send transactional email.
• The market you ask us to analyze: your business idea and city. That is what we run the analysis on.
• Payment metadata from Stripe (amount, status). We never see or store your card number.
• Basic usage analytics, described below.

To run your analysis, deliver and store your reports, process payments, and send transactional email (report-ready, receipts, account notices). With your explicit opt-in we may send occasional product updates, and you can opt out at any time.

We do not sell your data. The only data we share for advertising is the limited measurement data sent to Meta described below, used to learn whether our ads work.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and privacy-friendly product analytics (Datafast) to understand how the site is used.

We also use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. They tell Meta when a page is viewed, when a free market check is started or submitted, and when a report is purchased (with its amount). Alongside each event we send your email in hashed form (SHA-256, never in clear text), your IP address, your browser user agent, and Meta’s own cookie identifiers (_fbp, _fbc). Meta uses this to match the event to its users and report aggregated ad results to us.

When you arrive from a link that carries campaign tags (utm parameters or a Meta click id), a first-party cookie named dz_ft remembers that first visit for 90 days, so we can tell which campaign brought you if you later request a check. It is stored with your check and never shared with third parties.

You can limit Meta ad measurement by blocking third-party cookies or through your ad preferences on Facebook and Instagram, and you can exercise your data rights with us as described below.

Service providers that process your data on our behalf: Supabase (auth, database, storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI classification of the business idea you type), Datafast (site analytics), Meta Platforms (ad measurement, as described above), and Railway & Vercel (hosting).

To build a report we query public data sources (Google Places, US Census ACS, LODES, TIGER/Line, OpenStreetMap, BLS QCEW). We send them the market location you entered, never your personal details.

We keep your account and reports while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your account and unlinks your reports. Deleting your account also forfeits any unused report credits.
